I always stock up on veggies, but most would usually wilt easily even if kept at the fridge. These containers promise to keep our produce fresher, longer. I hope I find one here as I don’t want to order abroad anymore. In short, I don’t have much $$$ to spend.

I am in search of glass storage containers. I want our current Rubbermaid plastic containers replaced. My first choice was Pyrex, but I came across Frigoverre Glass Containers from The Kichn and I think I like this one better.

Mainly because this one’s cheaper. They put the containers to the test and they are quite rugged and chip-resistant. They are freezer-, microwave- and dishwasher-safe, though not oven-safe.

I am not shopping at the moment though. I will be including this on my list when I ask SIL to buy quicktrim for DH. She regularly buys my IL’s supplements and vitamins, so she’ll be including this on her next batch of padala.

Little things like this make me wish to learn how to bake. A similar pan with train design is also available and has been on my wishlist for quite some time now. I have a growing number of wishes as Christmas comes near, an Eagle Creek luggage included. I want a big bag that can hold all our valuables. Yeah, it is still a paranoia which resulted from the previous typhoon.

I have a short list of what I wanted for Christmas. The list includes items for the kitchen.

For starters, I am really wishing for an oven. I so want to try baking. I love pastries, but I am staying away from too much sweets so I guess it’s much healthier if I will be baking my treats myself as I can control the ingredients I put into it.

Next on my list is a new set of cooking utensils. I am still trying to make up my mind between the wooden or the stainless steel ones.

Maybe additional stainless pots and pans, too.

A few more gadgets like garlic chopper, lemon zester, etc.

Of course these are just nice-to-have. We are surviving with the kitchen items we have now. Plus our immediate families who was affected by the typhoon are needing such items more than us so they are our priority for now.

~snagged from Pottery Barn

I can’t remember where I got this one.
I want a solid-wood dining table like these. The chairs, I am thinking of just having two long benches on each side. I just want something plain and simple.
