I love this list I came across at TheKitchn. I love the products they listed and I love them even more because of the price. I’ll be referring to this list once I start my shopping for the kitchen. And I’ll be adding these items to my wish list, too, along with a few gadgets, a stay at one of the panama city beach motels, and a few items for the house.

Snowy Village Cakelet Pan.

The pan turns out six miniature cakes shaped like quaint cottages detailed with unique architectural features. Lined up in a row or arranged in a circle, the cakelets are ready for a snowy dusting of confectioners’ sugar. The cast-aluminum pan is highly durable and distributes heat evenly for perfect results.

Little things like this make me wish to learn how to bake. A similar pan with train design is also available and has been on my wishlist for quite some time now. I have a growing number of wishes as Christmas comes near, an Eagle Creek luggage included. I want a big bag that can hold all our valuables. Yeah, it is still a paranoia which resulted from the previous typhoon.

Wishlist.

I have a short list of what I wanted for Christmas. The list includes items for the kitchen.

For starters, I am really wishing for an oven. I so want to try baking. I love pastries, but I am staying away from too much sweets so I guess it’s much healthier if I will be baking my treats myself as I can control the ingredients I put into it.

Next on my list is a new set of cooking utensils. I am still trying to make up my mind between the wooden or the stainless steel ones.

Maybe additional stainless pots and pans, too.

A few more gadgets like garlic chopper, lemon zester, etc.

Of course these are just nice-to-have. We are surviving with the kitchen items we have now. Plus our immediate families who was affected by the typhoon are needing such items more than us so they are our priority for now.

I can’t remember where I got this one. :(

I want a solid-wood dining table like these. The chairs, I am thinking of just having two long benches on each side. I just want something plain and simple.

From engine to caboose, there’s no limit to the colors and decorative details imaginative young bakers can add to each train car. Made of durable cast aluminum by NordicWare, the pan bakes each little cake to perfection every time. The premium nonstick interior turns out cakes with beautiful detail and is easy to clean. Hand-wash. 6-cup cap.; 15 1/2″ x 9 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ high. Made in the USA by NordicWare. A Williams-Sonoma exclusive.

I love this railway cake pan from Williams-Sonoma. I promise to get this once I learned how to bake. I do have to have an oven first. :)
