I have been wanting to subscribe to Playhouse Disney channel for my son for the longest time. The problem is our cable provider doesn’t provide that channel yet to their provincial subscribers. Sigh. Though I love that it’s more quiet and the air is much cleaner from where we live, we are not able to get the best services. For one, our phone is from a smaller and sometimes not-so-reliable company. We are not also able to subscribe to much faster internet connection just because it is not yet offered in our area. Plus there are also times that our cellphone signal sucks, made me think of getting a cell phone signal booster for the house. But despite all these, I still love our place. It’s quite peaceful, simple and this is our first ever home.

I promised myself that I won’t be shopping so much this year. I am not actually much of a shopper but whenever I see sale and discounts, I get very tempted to shop. So much like the clearance savings I came across at TheSource.ca. They have tons of really good deals on computers, cameras, phones, TV’s and more. This is so tempting. I better show this to DH, too, I know he loves gadgets.

How I wish I can say that this is our bed. This is our bedroom at The Boutique Bed & Breakfast. This is the king size I believe and the three of us fit there comfortably. It made me think of replacing our current bed with a bigger one. But it was just a thought, unnecessary expenses can wait. Anyway, we had a good sleep, but I think we needed a heated blanket to keep us a warm. It was very, very cold especially in the early morning even if the air conditioning was already off. But all in all, it was a very nice experience for us.

I can’t wait for summer. We will be going to a nearby resort and we are so excited since it will be the first time that my son is going to experience the beach. I even got him his swimwear this early. In the coming weeks, I will be shopping for my summer needs. I try to shop little by little so it won’t be too heavy on the pocket. Swimwear isn’t so cheap, especially now that summer is fast approaching. When we have the budget, I wish the family can try a family vacation at Azul Beach Hotel in Riviera Maya. I keep coming across this resort when I search for a family-friendly beach resort. Adults get to enjoy all the pampering and indulgences, and at the same time the needs of their kids are taken care of. They are provided strollers, cribs, milk heaters, coloring books and the likes. They even have a Kids’ Activity Center that the whole family can enjoy. This is truly an ideal destination for us.

I just noticed that most, or most probably all, of my blogs now have low traffic. I haven’t really put much attention on my blogs anymore save for when I need to write some posts. Anyway, I don’t want to spend on getting more traffic anymore. I might look for some other ways to up my blogs’ rankings. I might try the free directory submission I came across recently. How I wish I have more time to do this.

I’m not getting any younger. And aches here and there are certainly unavoidable. That’s why I am slowly making healthy changes to my and my family’s lifestyle. I am trying to prepare healthier meals and lessen eating take outs. I know this will greatly benefit my son’s health as well. If only I can make him eat more veggies. But I am hoping that he will soon since he sees us frequently having veggies. I am also reading about various anti aging products since we also need to take care of our skin.
