We had a sumptuous lunch in a Korean restaurant. I love the bibimbap, kimchi and seasoned spinach.
Bought two tops and a small bag. This wasn’t part of the plan, though I really wanted to get a small purse – I call it my palengke bag, which will hold my phone, money and other essentials when doing the grocery
. I got the tops since I don’t want to put to waste all the hours of walking and browsing the store.
Browsed pinterest while waiting in the morning and I never got to do anything because of that. The rv repair that I was supposed to look into was not done. Seriously I can spend the whole day pinning all the pretty images and ideas online.

I just love Pinterest. I am just not sure how long it’s gonna keep me interested though. Anyway, the photo above is just one of my pins. I am saving photos of cakes and cupcakes for future reference. I have been wanting to try making them, but I have yet to complete my tools. I am scouting for a nice, affordable hand mixer. I don’t want to get the ‘real’ mixer since I am still not sure if I’m going to enjoy baking. So I am looking for less expensive items for now and just upgrade later on when I am sure about the hobby. Good thing we are going to go to the mall to get our supply of duracell procell batteries, I might drop by the appliance store to look around.

What I wish to receive this Valentine’s.

- An external hard drive. Why is it so hard to look for a 2TB EHD.
- A Fuji X10 digital camera. I saw this from a friend’s FB and I would love to have my current digicam upgraded.
- A new laptop, toshiba netbooks, dell, or whatever’s nice and not so expensive.
- A new DSLR.
- Lens for the new DSLR.
- A bigger and nicer table for my work area.
- Shopping spree!
These are just my wish list though, and mainly for blogging purposes.

I am. No, I don’t have those Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon Jobs or anything like that, still I feel like there are tons of things to do. But surprisingly I feel better when I have a lot of work. It keeps my mind occupied. Plus I feel like I want to make the most of whatever’s left of the school break. And whether I like it or not I know I have to be more active just so I can lose the extra pounds that I have been gaining over the last couple of weeks. 2012 should be a better and healthier year for us.

Since my eating too much this season has been giving me some tummy problems, I promise myself that I will try my very best to have a healthier diet this coming New Year. And hopefully I will be able to exercise more religiously. I just haven’t found the time to shop for new running shoes, but when I do, I will go balk to brisk walking on the treadmill. I hope I’d be brave enough to try yoga, and get myself a yoga mat and even a yoga meditation chair. Starting on these isn’t so hard, maintaining those activities is what I find more challenging.

Christmas, that is. I’m glad I am done shopping for the gifts. And since most of those gifts are for DS’ school, everything has been distributed as well. All that’s left to do is prepare the cash gifts for the relatives. I’m trying to finish work also so I can enjoy the holiday season. I probably should continue the cleaning and decluttering of the house and researching about single premium immediate annuities after Christmas instead. I might try out new recipes for Christmas Eve so I need all the time to learn and shop. Or maybe not. Should I just order food instead?

An idle mind is the devil’s workshop. I believe this is true. And so to keep mind from all the unhealthy thoughts, I am planning to re-visit my old hobbies and learn new ones. Scrapbooking will still remain a top priority though it doesn’t seem so as per my scrap output. Learning more about photography is likewise on my list. I like to work with my hands so I might give cross stitching a try again. I’d like to get a sewing machine and try to sew again, as well. I am also browsing the net for beads for jewelry making and beading ideas to see if it will spark my interest on it again. And most especially, I want to try baking. I do bake from time to time but it’s mostly straight out of the box. I want to try something from scratch this time.

1. The Non-Murse Man Bag
2. Flight Lessons
3. Hilarious Reading
4. On-Trend Boots
5. Headphones That Can Do It All
6. The Manly Man’s Winter Vest
7. A Customizable iPad Case
I grabbed this from yahoo dot com. I am afraid though that almost half of the items on the list aren’t applicable here. For one, we live in a tropical country, thus a winter vest isn’t a necessity. I think a stainless steel necklace or a watch will make great gifts as well. Or a gym membership perhaps. A camera. A gadget. And I just realized that it isn’t actually so hard to get gifts for the guys.

Christmas is fast approaching. And it’s time to try playing the piano once again. For some reason, we get re-acquainted with the piano during this season. Maybe because we like to hear Christmas songs during this season and what better way to play Christmas songs than playing them ourselves. And before you get misled, no we don’t know how to play the piano. I know a bit since I studied when I was younger, but that’s just about it. I am trying to introduce it to my son, and I even offered to get him pearl drums, but I don’t think he is into it, for now at least. But I promise, when he gets a little bit older, I will make him try at least once musical instrument.

Weekends have always been busy for us. Aside from DS’ usual activities, DH sometimes accepts photography gigs on weekends as well. Then last weekend, we attended an early Christmas Party with friends. It was a fun party and DS got to take home tons of Angry Birds items, while DH got outdoor speakers from the White Elephant game, would you believe? Nah, he got this really cute yet very powerful speaker. And then this coming weekend we are to witness the Christening of a friend’s baby girl. So since we are out of the house, needless to say, my tummy has been having too much not-so-healthy food. And as much I am liking it, our weighing scale so disagrees. So I guess I just have to eat healthier from now on.
