I have been looking for a small, pretty basket to store my onions and garlic. I came across this vegetable storage box from thekitchn.com and this seems like a really good idea. I do keep a stock of too much carrots and this box will be so useful. If only I can find a similar box from where I am. Aside from that, I also do need to search for the best night cream out there. My skin badly needs to be taken cared of.

Every Drop Counts.

Posted on February 7, 2009 by adminNo Comments

So everybody can finish their soup.

every_drop_counts

Every Drop Counts is a series of bowls where the bottom of the bowl is subtly inclined to create a whole new way of getting people to finish every last drop. With stories which end at the bottom of the food or with graphic narratives which conclude where the food accumulates, the user is encouraged to finish every last drop. It is the first of a series of objects which are designed to contribute in the reduction of food wastage in the domestic environment.

While going through my feeds at Bloglines, I came across Coverleaf.

Coverleaf.com is a service that provides digital editions of many of your favorite magazines allowing you to conveniently read your magazine anywhere with Internet access. No software downloads are required. If you are a current print edition subscriber, you can access your magazines for free by verifying your subscription. You can also browse the selection of magazines on coverleaf.com and look inside any issue for a free preview. If you opt to register on coverleaf.com, you can clip, save and share pages from any issue. Coverleaf is provided by Texterity, a leading provider of digital publishing services, in partnership with leading publishing and fulfillment companies.

To my delight, they have Scrapbooks Etc and Memory Makers magazines. You can buy digital copies of magazine issues for only $0.99. I do love reading magazines but I hate the clutter so this one’s for me. If I find the magazine worth keeping then that’s the time I will buy a hard copy.

Go Organic.

Posted on September 10, 2008 by admin1 Comment

I was craving for something sweet so I dropped by Marks & Spencer when we went to Alabang to buy my favorite butter cookies from them. I have been eating this for a long time but it’s just now that I realized that this was made of organic butter.

my fave butter cookies.

I am lately becoming aware of organic food and products. For starters, I try to prepare organic rice for the family. Good thing, the little boy enjoys it. I am also hoping that it will tone down the little boy’s kulit-ness.

Near the counter, I saw these very nice organic cotton bags. Since it only costs 295 pesos, I got one. I really am not sure where to use it but I bought one anyway. I’ll just probably use it to carry the little boy’s change of clothes and other toiletries in school. It’s nice and it’s cheap. So go buy one. :D

At Magic Cabin. I saw this at Martha earlier so I decided to check it out.

I wish I can get these toys for the little boy.

I am also itching to order the 45-piece train set from a fellow N@wie. I originally planned to give it to him for Christmas, but I don’t know how long I can keep myself from ordering it.

Is This It?

Posted on July 9, 2008 by admin7 Comments

I have been in search for a laptop bag for weeks now. I have visited several multiply stores but I never saw anything I liked. And just now, I stumbled upon Pinder Bags at ShopCrazy. However, the info posted in ShopCrazy was 2 years ago. :(

Anyway, I initially wanted this black and purple combination.

Then I thought this brown and pink combination will go well with my laptop.

Decisions. Decisions.

Suggestions for “affordable” and doesn’t-look-like-a-laptop-bag laptop bags are very much welcome.

This is a laptop desk. Which you can also turn into breakfast tray, bed desk, book holder and writing desk. I saw this at www.lapdawg.com. I wish someone comes up with a similar product here.
