Daing na bangus, sinangag and itlog. From Lola Idang’s. We were stuck in BF during typhoon Ondoy and DH has to leave me and DS there while he walked out of the village to get some gas. We were running out of gas while in the middle of a typhoon and all roads out are heavily flooded.

A combination of fresh iceberg and romaine lettuce, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, red cabbage, carrots and peppers, topped with your favorite dressing.

Wedding cakes are so expensive nowadays. So for my in-laws 50th wedding celebration, we decided to just order 3 cakes from Alex Franco instead of the actual wedding cake. We just added a small figurine of a couple on top pf the biggest cake. And because we love Alex’s cake so much, we had to put away the biggest cake during the reception so we could bring it home.

This is CPK’s grilled vegetable salad.

Grilled Vegetable Salad
Grilled asparagus, Japanese eggplant, zucchini, green onions and roasted corn, served warm over a bed of chilled Romaine lettuce, fresh avocado and sun-dried tomatoes in a Dijon balsamic vinaigrette. Tossed upon request. Also available with grilled chicken breast, sautéed salmon or grilled shrimp.

We had this last July when we had our lunch at California Pizza Kitchen to celebrate DH’s birthday. I ordered this one as I really love veggies. I loved it and the next we order this, I am not sharing.

A slice of mango bravo from Conti’s. We have been frequenting the new Conti’s restaurant in Nuvali Sta. Rosa. I am currently loving their mango bravo, we have been planning to have our merienda there and order the whole cake. But I doubt if that is happening anytime soon as we are cutting down on our food intake, especially the not-so-healthy ones.

Caramel cake and mini cupcakes. I got my son a small cake so he can blow his candles during his birthday treat in school. The small cupcakes are for the kids. I figured it will be a bit messy to cut the cake and serve them to the kids.
