I tell you, Twitter is not a good place to go when you want to avoid shopping. My friends over at Twitter would usually discuss about shopping and sales that one would be tempted to shop, too. Good thing for me though as I can still manage to resist temptation and I still have what little money I have intact. Besides, I really cannot afford to shop right now. Aside from school fees and other bills to pay, I really have my eyes on saving. Maybe once I have enough saved, I can buy gold bullion as a form of investment. I have read that gold is indeed a very good and safe investment due to its stability. USgoldbureau.com is a very good source of gold coins and bullions if you are considering investing in one, too.

As a treat to the little graduate, we went to the mall after his Moving Up Day. We went to Powerplant primarily because I want to check out Philux as I was looking for a bed then. {I did see a bed that was within my budget. Good thing I didn’t buy it though as SM has their home world sale a few weeks after that and I was able to get my bed from there at a much, much cheaper price.}

Anyway, we had our late lunch at Burgoo and their big paper placemat was enough to keep the boy occupied while we wait for the food. I, on the other hand, browsed for business insurance quotes while waiting. We had pasta and pizza. No surprise here. We had pasta pomodoro and a 4 flavors-in-1 pizza.

As requested, the graduate had his vanilla ice cream fix. So like me, I did prefer vanilla over any other flavors of ice cream when I was younger.

We had our short summer getaway in Acuatico in San Juan Batangas on Easter Monday. It’s been that long and I haven’t blogged about it. We had a great time. The place was so nice. I just wish that their internet connection wasn’t intermittent, I could have sneak in a reading on Louisiana Jones Act while there. Anyway, maybe I’d share more details in my other blog. I am sharing here the food that we had for our snacks.
Pancakes for my son. These are 2 pancakes with a sunny side up egg and bacon in the middle.

Fries and tuna sandwich I shared with DH.

We had a really fun lunch last Friday in Mall of Asia. It was Kathy’s birthday and she invited us to lunch. She arrived a bit late though as she had to attend to some family matters. So we just had our lunch while waiting for her, and talked about stuff like vig rx hee-hee, bags, chismis, etc. Anyway, thank God that despite the delay, everything went as planned.
All the while she thought that we were just going to have lunch together. She had no idea that she was in for a surprise of a lifetime – her husband came home from abroad and surprised her! You should see the look on her face when her husband came in with a cake. It was truly a good day.
By the way, the photo on top are just some of the food we feasted on. That’s Mai on the left, then those are my arms and my boy on the right who was very much contented in eating his plain white rice. {He truly enjoys white rice when we are out as we serve brown rice at home.}

I have thousands of feeds that I want to read. You see, I am subscribed to tons and blogs. I have already filtered the list but I still have lots. I just can’t let go of most of them as I am learning a lot from those blogs. From personal blogs, to scrapbooking blogs, to craft blogs, inspirational and even health blog. And speaking of health, if you are interested in losing weight, you can learn more from Loseweightfast.net. Anyway, I am trying to finish work as there are so much personal stuff that I want to do.
