Have you tried Max’s giant halu halo? Everytime I see the giant halu-halo’s billboard on South Super Highway, I can’t help but crave for the big treat. My son is excited as well to try it out, mainly because of the loads of stik-o on top of the halu-halo. It is good for 6-8 persons though, so I am not sure if the three of us can finish it of. But one of these days, I am going to have that gigantic halu-halo. Maybe after the Holy Week. Plus I do have tons of work, house chores included, that I need to finish. One of which is the project management software that my cousin is asking me to take a look at. I hope my background and experience in IT will help me on this one.

This was a school party from one of my son’s classmate. I just had to take a photo of this cute tower of pastries. The kids, the boys even, enjoyed the party so much. It must have something to do with the small plates and cups where the pastries and tea {aka chocolate drink} were served.

I am in search of glass storage containers. I want our current Rubbermaid plastic containers replaced. My first choice was Pyrex, but I came across Frigoverre Glass Containers from The Kichn and I think I like this one better.
Mainly because this one’s cheaper. They put the containers to the test and they are quite rugged and chip-resistant. They are freezer-, microwave- and dishwasher-safe, though not oven-safe.
I am not shopping at the moment though. I will be including this on my list when I ask SIL to buy quicktrim for DH. She regularly buys my IL’s supplements and vitamins, so she’ll be including this on her next batch of padala.

Ingredients
1 pound short pasta
1 pound white mushrooms, sliced
1/4 cup olive oil
1 small onion, peeled and finely diced
2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
1 15-ounce can whole peeled tomatoes, crushed by hand
1 sprig fresh rosemary, leaved removed and minced
2 fillets anchovy, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Grated Parmesan for finishing
Procedure
1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over low heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook gently for 10 minutes, until soft. Turn the heat to high and add the mushrooms, cooking until all the moisture has evaporated.
2. Add the anchovies and cook for a minute until they begin to soften and melt into the sauce, then add the tomatoes and rosemary. Season to taste and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
3. In the meantime, bring a pot of salty water to boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Drain, reserving some pasta water, then add to a serving bowl and top with the sauce. Toss well, adding a bit of pasta cooking water if necessary, then top with the cheese and serve.

I have changed my shampoo. I am now sharing the baby shampoo with my kid, because clear, light shampoos are really milder and has less chemicals. I decided to make the change when I noticed hair fall while I shampoo. And with the baby shampoo, my hair fall lessened. Anyway, I am just so happy that my case isn’t a hereditary hair loss. I knew someone who is experiencing such, and he has been looking for ways on how to prevent hair loss. His search led him to Hairlosspreventions.org and he is now one happy guy.

I have been visiting Bestmultivitamins.org lately to check on the best multivitamins that they recommend. I am very happy with my current multivitamins but of course, it wouldn’t hurt to check on other options as well. I am learning a lot from the site, like things to consider in choosing the right multivitamin. I am not getting any younger, that’s why I am making time to read about these things.
