“Breakfast in bed, sleep in the kitchen.”

I just had to post this photo, simply because I find what is written on the towel funny. Nope, I won’t be needing this in our house. We don’t eat in the bedroom as we do not want our son to get used to that practice. I want to keep the bedroom as clean as possible as I don’t want to have ants or any other insect in there. Anyway, speaking of kitchens, I am looking for an itty-bitty TV set that I can put in the kitchen to keep me company while I cook. I can only wish that it’s an LCD TV, but we cannot afford to get that right now.

Food Flags.

Posted on January 24, 2010 by adminNo Comments

I was looking at various motorhome for sale online when I came across these food flags. {We cannot afford such vehicle, so I just content myself looking at them.} Anyway, an advertising agency has come up with a campaign to promote the Sydney International Food Festival: flags made from food typical of each country.

The flag of Italy is made of basil, pasta and tomatoes. LOVE this one. Yummy!

The Greek flag is made of feta cheese and olives.

For Noche Buena.

Posted on January 22, 2010 by adminNo Comments

I know, this is long overdue. Our internet connection over the holidays was extremely slow and it’s only now that I get to slowly update my Flickr account. I can finally check for clamps over at ReidSupply.com, too. Anyway, I am sharing what we had for Noche Buena. Nothing unusual and everything is inexpensive. I was too lazy to prepare food so we just bought ours.

our food.

These are mostly local Pinoy food. We had buko pie, The Original is still the best. We also had Dolor’s sapin-sapin, cake and pancit palabok from Red Ribbon, bibingka and puto bungbong. I was supposed to prepare Pinoy tsokolate but we couldn’t find the suman to match it.

Anti-Aging.

Posted on January 15, 2010 by adminNo Comments

I’m not getting any younger. And aches here and there are certainly unavoidable. That’s why I am slowly making healthy changes to my and my family’s lifestyle. I am trying to prepare healthier meals and lessen eating take outs. I know this will greatly benefit my son’s health as well. If only I can make him eat more veggies. But I am hoping that he will soon since he sees us frequently having veggies. I am also reading about various anti aging products since we also need to take care of our skin. Antiaging-products.net is providing reviews of the products thus making it easier for us to choose the better products.

New Degree.

Posted on January 15, 2010 by adminNo Comments

With the peso to dollar exchange rate being so low, I think we badly need to be conscious of our spending. It’s about time I guess that we look for other sources of income. It might have been so much easier for me to decide if I want to get back to work if we have someone to take care of the house and prepare the family’s meal. However, that’s not the case so I am stuck here in the house indefinitely. Good thing there are schools offering various online degrees. I can try to study again and still be able to stay home.
