Presenting my garlic pasta.

I have been hearing about garlic pasta and decided to give it a try. My ingredients include olive oil, chopped garlic (lots of it! garlic is good for you.), lemon juice, a sprinkle of chili flakes and some salt and pepper. I can’t give the exact measurement of each as I mix them according to taste. The steps are simple. I just heat the olive oil in a pan, then add the garlic (be careful not to burn them), then the lemon juice, salt, pepper and chili flakes, and then I added the cooked pasta. My son enjoys this pasta so much even if I put tons of garlic on it. And for a variation, just add crushed bottled tuyo flakes and some lemon zest to create a lemon-tuyo pasta.

We went to Sonya’s a few weeks back to treat SIL and family. Two of DS’s cousins also went with us. DH was busy attending to them and taking pictures, he wasn’t able to eat so much. I, on the other hand, couldn’t care less hee-hee as I was busy enjoying my food. Sonya’s is one of my favorite places to eat and I am wishing we can go there again soon.

Enjoying his oh-so-plain pasta.

Cousins.

Vegetarian pizza from Sbarro. I’m not vegetarian but I do love veggies. We normally order the pizza with mushroom and spinach toppings but it wasn’t available that time. So I settled with this one.

Wedding cakes are so expensive nowadays. So for my in-laws 50th wedding celebration, we decided to just order 3 cakes from Alex Franco instead of the actual wedding cake. We just added a small figurine of a couple on top pf the biggest cake. And because we love Alex’s cake so much, we had to put away the biggest cake during the reception so we could bring it home.
