Herb Keeper.

Posted on July 16, 2009 by adminNo Comments

I came across this herb keeper from one of the blogs I am subscribed to. I like using herbs (not that I know a lot of herbs) on my dishes, pasta especially. However I don’t usually buy herbs as much as they end up wilting in the ref since I am not able to use them at once. This herb keeper looks interesting and something I can use.

Herb Keeper
Keep fresh herbs or asparagus crisp and green longer than mere refrigeration by immersing the stems in water. Clear plastic keeper has a removable insert with water fill line and perforated cup for easy draining. Green silicone gasket provides resistance, allowing herbs to rest in a raised position for easy access. Large capacity keeper fits in most refrigerator doors.

Tummy-Filled Weekend.

Posted on July 5, 2009 by admin1 Comment

We had a tummy-filled weekend. Last Friday, a dear friend who came home from abroad treated us to dinner at Leslie’s in Alabang. We then had coffee (not me though, I just had a banana muffin) at Coffee Bean in ATC. DS wanted a vanilla ice cream and Haagen Dazs was the only store open at that time which sells ice cream. So DH had no choice but to get him a scoop of ice cream for 175 pesos! Que horror! It was yummy though, but I will never buy a scoop of ice cream for that price.

Our former boss wasn’t able to join us that night so he made up today and we had merienda here in our house. We ordered pizza, pasta and chicken. It was fun meeting with old friends. They were some of the first people I met when I started working and it was good to know that we can still joke around like before.
