Sharing some pictures taken during the little boy’s last day of summer school at TU. Parents were asked to bring food to share.
Before the party.

Eating time.

They had the toys covered. It triggered more curiosity however.

Class picture. Mission impossible.

At least, the little boy was able to stay seated even for a few minutes.

More pictures here.
Thanks for looking!

Excuse the marathon of not-so-personal posts here. As usual, today is uneventful. Just spent the whole day at home, cooked, did a little cleaning, played with the little boy and I was able to have a short nap this afternoon. The little boy will start school next week. At 8 am! Hay, this is going to be a challenge for me.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, if they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere.
If someone hurts you, betrays you , or breaks you heart, forgive them. For they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to who you open your heart to.
If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them.
Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.
Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Hold your head up because you have every right to. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don’t believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you either.
You can make of your life anything you wish. Create your own life and then go out and live it.

I want a sewing machine.

{Not exactly this one though as I haven’t checked all the models yet. But it does match the theme of my blog.}
Am I bored? A big NO! I have so much stuff to do. I have a lot of things in my mind. I had better days. I just thought I wanted to try sewing again. I have my mommy’s OLD sewing machine here but it needs some tuning up. The last time I sew was a few years ago when I enrolled in a sewing class. I didn’t finish the course though. I think I was only able to sew the collar of the blouse then I never came to class again.
