#3

In our house, that is. The little boy went for a swim in his inflatable pool this afternoon. He was more relaxed at the water this time as compared when he was younger. He just hang out in the pool with the daddy and played a little basketball. We are planning on enrolling him again for a swim class at the Bert Lozada Swim School this summer.

hamming it up for the camera

The little boy hamming it up for the camera. Cellphone cam, that is. He loves making faces while seeing his face on the screen. See him smile, show off his nose, beautiful eyes, peek-a-boo, mr. pogi smile and show off his tummy.

Of course, the mommy wouldn’t be left behind. I love my cellphone cam as I think I don’t look as chubby as I actually am in these shots. :D

Celebrate.

Posted on January 26, 2008 by adminNo Comments

celebrate the temporary
don’t wait until tomorrow
live today

celebrate the simple things
enjoy the butterfly
embrace the snow
run with the ocean
delight in trees
or a single flower
go barefoot in the wet grass

don’t wait
until all the problems
are solved
or all the bills
are paid
you will wait forever
eternity will come and go
and you will
still be waiting

live in the now
with all the problems
and its agonies
with its joy
and its pain
your despair
your anger
it means you’re alive

look closer
breathe deeper
stand taller
stop grieving the past

there is joy and beauty
today
it is temporary
here now and gone
so celebrate it
while you can

celebrate the temporary.

A very nice reminder. Snagged off from mod*mom.

The Games We Play.

Posted on January 24, 2008 by admin1 Comment

the games we play :D

Aside from Jumpstart Toddlers (which he plays with his daddy), the little boy currently loves playing Barney’s Dance Along Juke-box, Tigger and Pooh Musical Honey Pots and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Games. He usually just clicks. I handle the mouse most of the time as this one’s got a few more extra buttons on the sides and on top, as compared to our other mouse (which he often uses) that has two buttons only. Oh, that’s a Tweety Dresser (?) with lamp beside the laptop we got at Jollibee for the little boy. Yup, he loves Tweety. And he loves hearing me say “I tot I taw a putty tat. I did. I did.”.

Aggie said I do need to scrap. I wanted to, promise. I just couldn’t find the energy and the inspiration. Hopefully soon. Scrap blog pa man din, wala naman layout. Hehehe. Anyway, I was feeling sick yesterday. I am ok now though the throat still hurts. But I think I’m gonna have sore eyes this time. The little boy had those last week. Hayhayhay! Why do I have to take all the virus?

Christmas.

Posted on January 3, 2008 by admin3 Comments

Christmas morning, the little boy resumed his opening of gifts. He got a few more books, some toys and pajama sets. Of all, he loves the counting book. Recently, he is into his sticker book. We would peel a letter or number sticker and the little boy will look for that letter or number in the book and attach the sticker.

Finally!

Posted on January 2, 2008 by admin2 Comments

I am done with my blog’s theme. But I will still be adding some stuff later on. Naku, you wouldn’t believe how long it took me decide on a theme. I really wanted a clean style, similar to my other blog, and just change the colors and the header image once in a while. I will be back to regular programming soon.

Thanks for visiting me here. If you want to exchange links, feel free to drop me a note. :D
